_Thyroid Adenoma
_Toxic Adenoma
_Thyroid cysts
_Multinodular Goiter
_ Thyroid cancer
That thyroid adenoma is more prevalent comparing to other types.
In the rest of this paper, you will understand about the benign and malignant nodules and different methods that help you become aware of this nodules.
Methods: To gain accurate information for this study, papers about thyroid nodules from google scholar have been studied, and also related papers from popular journals like Springer, Elsevier and etc, have been investigated.
Results: Most of the thyroid nodules are benign and frequently the elderly, women and people with iodine deficiency have this health problem. There are different methods for recognition them. Studies show that about 2_6% of thyroid nodules with palpation, 19_35% with ultrasound, and 8_65% in autopsy data are detected. Always the thyroid nodules are not benign and rarely they can be malignant. The most accurate way to diagnose them is Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) and after that you can understand if you need to surgery or not. Most of the time people think that they have another problem but when they visit doctor they become aware of their thyroid nodules; Because thyroid nodules do not have different symptoms and sometimes people may have difficulty swallowing, have pain, also thyroid nodules can cause voice change or even they seem like protrusion in the neck.
Conclusion: To conclude this paper, I can mention that there are different ways in order to become aware of the thyroid nodules. As mentioned before the ways of diagnosing the benign and malignant thyroid nodules are various. When the frequency of thyroid nodules is high it is easier to identify them but the solitary of the thyroid nodule is challenging and it is the case that need more accurate methods for diagnosing. But in most cases the thyroid nodules are benign and cannot result in serious problems.
