  • Introduction: Introduction: ALS (Amyotrophic.lateral.sclerosis) is a neurodegenerative disorder that engages neurons and the nervous system. It exhibits a wide range of symptoms over the course of the disease. That people live almost three to five years after it, and about 6,400 people in the United States contract the disease every year.and the major event of motor neuron degradation followed by problems at the nerve-muscle synapse site Followed by muscle weakness and even respiratory muscle paralysis and death and the most common cause of death in these pneumonia patients. In this article, we tried to evaluate the cost and efficacy of the diagnostic methods as well as the suggested treatments for this disease.
  • Methods: Methods:In this article, we searched for stem cell, teraphy, ALS keywords in google schoolar, science direct, pub med, elsevier and research articles that have yielded promising results in recent years. We studied 15 articles that were highly validated and directly used the findings of 12 articles to summarize and characterize the pathway of treatment in these patients.
  • Results: Result: To diagnose this disease, we need to obtain electrophysiological evidence for chronic neurological changes and compare it with clinical information. As well as nerve conduction studies and electromyographic studies, we use biological methods for early detection and to confirm the diagnosis by examining cu, zn and SOD mutations. In the treatment of this disease, we must focus on preventing the destruction of neurons, and according to data from clinical trialsIf the cells around the neurons are healthy they can be prevented from killing them completely by using mesenchymal stem cells. By implanting it into the uterus or into the spinal cord, that is, by collecting bone marrow syringes and inducing stem cells and suspending them into the spinal cord and then transplanted into the spinal cord. This procedure stimulates synaptic junctions and in turn promotes growth factor release and reduces the apoptotic process, which in turn causes the cells to return and continue to survive properly. There are, of course, other therapies, such as replacement with motor neurons, and methods such as injecting growth factors should occur at the right time that may affect. And a number of clinical trials have been done with membranes and olexymic and dexpomamixol drugs that have failed. There are also methods of cell therapy using genetically modified cells. Other conditions, such as the stability of the molecule and its ability to properly return neurons and unwanted and unintended side effects, must also be considered in the treatment of this disease, all of which make it difficult to achieve successful treatment
  • Conclusion: Conclusion: Because the cause of the disease is unknown, its treatment is not yet definitive, but should be controlled by the disease. Recent studies have proven the efficacy of stem cells, but what is important is a careful examination of the cellular pathways and the reactions that may follow. However, the researchers hope that these trials will be a useful therapeutic approach to improve the quality of life of these patients.
