  • Introduction: Introduction: Nowadays, there are various ways in which medical education can be improved in students, especially nursing students. Physiology course is not excluded. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different educational methods on the level of learning the physiology course in nursing students.
  • Methods: Methods: In this study, valid scientific articles were indexed in ISI, PubMed, Scopus, Sid, Magiran databases using key words ((Education, Physiology, Nursing Students)). The time period from 2013 to 2019 was considered for the selection of papers. The articles were found in 108 articles, of which about 72 articles were included in the study and then these articles were evaluated in terms of title, abstract and full text. After removing repetitive and unrelated, about 44 articles related to research were selected.
  • Results: Results: According to the study, educational methods such as memorial patterns, Reproductive Learning, Traditional Lectures, Lecture with case in the experimental groups had a mean score of )14.28 ± 3.32(, (14.20 ± 1.32), (3.50 ± 0.11), (3.59 ± 0.10) among which the memorial and reproductive patterns have the highest score for improving the level of learning.
  • Conclusion: Conclusion: Using educational methods for memorial patterns and reproductive learning can promote students' learning. It is suggested that these two methods be used in physiology.
