Introduction: In this paper, zinc oxide nanoparticles, silica mesoporous, chitosan were synthesized on a 10 x 10 cellulose fabric, then cefaloxin antibiotic with 25 ppm unit was loaded on the fabric
Methods: . In order to determine swelling and water uptake, chitosan polymer synthetic fabric and mesoporous ZnO nanoparticles were tested by water absorption test at 8 h and drug release test at 12 h. In order to investigate the properties, morphology and structure of ZnO, silica mesopore and chitosan nanoparticles, X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (ATR), electron microscopy (SEM), were used.
Results: To evaluate the toxicity and antibacterial properties of the fabric synthesized with chitosan, zinc oxide nanoparticles, silica mesopore, MTT, MBC microbial assay was used. The results showed that zinc oxide nanoparticles
Conclusion: Mesoporous silica increased the surface-to-volume ratio of the fabric sample
Chitosan polymer as well as chitosan polymer increased the release of cefaloxin
