  • Introduction: In this paper, zinc oxide nanoparticles, silica mesoporous, chitosan were synthesized on a 10 x 10 cellulose fabric, then cefaloxin antibiotic with 25 ppm unit was loaded on the fabric
  • Methods: . In order to determine swelling and water uptake, chitosan polymer synthetic fabric and mesoporous ZnO nanoparticles were tested by water absorption test at 8 h and drug release test at 12 h. In order to investigate the properties, morphology and structure of ZnO, silica mesopore and chitosan nanoparticles, X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (ATR), electron microscopy (SEM), were used.
  • Results: To evaluate the toxicity and antibacterial properties of the fabric synthesized with chitosan, zinc oxide nanoparticles, silica mesopore, MTT, MBC microbial assay was used. The results showed that zinc oxide nanoparticles
  • Conclusion: Mesoporous silica increased the surface-to-volume ratio of the fabric sample Chitosan polymer as well as chitosan polymer increased the release of cefaloxin
