  • Introduction: Heart disease remains one of the leading causes of death in industrialized nations with myocardial infarction. Tissue engineering provides a more convenient and, of course, more secure, method to regenerate damaged tissue using important components such as scaffolds and cells. Among the many materials used in the reconstruction of the heart tissue, hydrogels have a special place. The multifunctional properties of hydrogels such as their special ability to adapt to certain environmental stimuli, make them as the gold candidate for tissue engineering.
  • Methods: In the context of this overview, 11articles were used between the years 2010 through the end of 2019 using the keywords of PubMed, Google scholar search engines and scientific web sites.
  • Results: Since tissue traction is an important feature of the heart tissue, micropartised hydrogels from MeTro were used. Microfabrication technologies have also been used for better cellular conduction and greater elasticity and improved performance. The use of hydrogels without addition of cells has been demonstrated that to improve cardiac function. Biomaterials including alginate, collagen, hyaluronic acid, polyethylene glycol have also beeused in studies of cardiac regeneration.
  • Conclusion: Electric integrity is essential for normal functioning of the heart Is. Among the new ways of treating heart failure and recovery Impaired electrical integrity caused by these failures, engineering Tissue using biomaterial conductive electrical current, along with Other methods are very much considered. Three main items Used for heart tissue engineering in studies conducted,The term is based on gold, carbon-based materials and polymers Conductive. An important concern for many approaches is the timing for cell delivery. Heart tissue regeneration field is now moving towards more complex therapies
