The role of oils in breast cancer in women (systematic review)

Abstract


Introduction

About one-third of cancers may be related to diet, along with lifestyle and physical activity. international data show that lifestyle, genetic and reproductive factors are associated with the risk of breast cancer, but these changes are unknown in countries and cultures. this review article aims to investigate the role of saturated and non saturated oils in breast cancer.

Methods

This article is a systematic overview using the keywords: mesh cancer, breast cancer, oil, diet at pubmed, medline, google scholar, science direct, and using cancer keywords, breast cancer, oil and diet in bases, google scholar, sid from 2000 to 2017 after the study early was searched and found by two independent through 50 articles, 15 articles were selected as full text and abstract. data reporting was done qualitatively.

Results

Olive oil, due to acidophilic, has an antinociceptive effect on breast cancer. the presence of a diet of olive oil has increased breast cancer. fish oil also prevents the cancer from affecting the activity of enzymes. oils such as safflower oil, sunflower, soybean, corn, and ... have the potential to have a high effect on cancer cells.

Conclusion

According to the findings, there is a significant relationship between olive oil and fish oil and breast cancer. therefore, these oils can be used to reduce breast cancer, but more research is needed on other oils.
