• Assessment of Pregnant Women's Knowledge of Prenatal Care in Neonatal Health

  • Introduction: Today, one of the most important indicators in countries is the mortality rate of pregnant women, and in order to reduce this index in countries, one of the strategies that can be used is the regular care of women during pregnancy. These strategies can undoubtedly have a positive effect on ending a safe and successful pregnancy with the health of the mother and baby. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women about prenatal care.
  • Methods: . This review study, conducted in 1989, includes articles from Iran Databases, Magiran, Google Scholar, IranMax and related books such as Safe Motherhood Program, 9 Months Waiting, Pregnancy Health and Pregnancy Guide; and The guidance and counseling of several midwives and obstetricians was also provided. Articles that did not have sufficient information were excluded from the study.
  • Results: . The present study indicates that the quality of life in pregnant women is low. Therefore, knowledge and awareness of health care providers about the changes in the health status of pregnant mothers are also important factors affecting their quality of life for planning and care services needed to improve the quality of life during the nine months of pregnancy.
