  • Introduction: Cuscutta Reflexa Roxb is a Effective Herbal in Traditional Oriental Medicine that usually are used Nutrition and improving kidney and liver in China and other Asian countries. Because oxidative stress increases the hepatotoxicity induced by acetaminophen, aim of this study is Evaluating the protective effect of liver And antioxidant activities of the ethanol extract of Cuscutta Reflexa Roxb On acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity in rats.
  • Methods: In Histopathological evaluation of the liver, Ethanol extract of Cuscutta Reflexa Roxb with Oral dose of 250 mg per kg of acetaminophen-induced toxicity is prevented.
  • Results: Associated with antioxidant activity, Ethanol extract of Cuscutta Reflexa Roxb Increased levels of Superoxide dismutase (SOD), Catalase (CAT) and Glutathione peroxidase (GPX) and Malondialdehyde levels (MDA) decreased.
  • Conclusion: The results show that Ethanol extract of Cuscutta Reflexa Roxb can reduce Acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity in rats. The antioxidant herb is effective in this regard.
