Abstract


Introduction

Gestational diabetes is a condition in which blood glucose levels are rising during pregnancy and diabetes symptoms in a pregnant woman who has not previously been diagnosed with diabetes. gestational diabetes is the most important medical condition and metabolic disorder during pregnancy, with an increase in prevalence and short-term and long-term maternal and fetal complications. an appropriate diet for treating this disorder is one of the priorities of the health system. where gestational diabetes, like type 2 diabetes, is due to insulin resistance, during the onset of gestational diabetes, in addition to the volume and type of food, eating times include 6 meals (3 main meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) 3 the snack is 10 am (midnight, midnight and before bed). it's important to keep these points in mind when it comes to the proper distribution of calories in the body, thereby preventing an increase or decrease in blood glucose. therefore, in order to prevent this disorder, better control of blood glucose and the reduction of fetal and maternal complications in patients with this disease, it is necessary to study the important factor affecting insulin activity in the body, ie, diet in this group.

Methods

This study was reviewed and its data was compiled through a search of internet resources and valid databases such as pubmed, google scholar sid.

Results

The results of the study showed that the composition of the diet program has an important effect on insulin activity during pregnancy, the glucose index and glucose load in sweet drinks and inflammatory factors that are important factors in diabetes increase, and the sensitivity to insulin and secretion smoothies, jams and compote, mayonnaise, soft drinks, salty snacks, solid fats, red meat, potatoes, eggs, ready-to-eat foods, high-fat dairy products, ready meals, low-fat dairy consumption, whole grains and grains have a positive correlation with the increased risk of gestational diabetes.

Conclusion

According to the results of the study and findings, the effectiveness of educational intervention, having knowledge and self care skills, especially in the field of nutrition, plays an important role in controlling gestational diabetes. if the project is implemented as a continuous intervention in all health care centers, it plays an important role in the diet. mothers and diabetes will have them.
