Abstract
Introduction
Spondyloarthritis is a group of multi-systematic disorders that has been created by spinal features, peripheral jointsand extra-articular features. these disorders classified into four main subgroups: psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis, arthritis related to inflmmatory bowel disease, a subgroup of juvenileidiopathic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. investigations has shown that hla-b27 and other alleles such as hla-b40 and hla-b60 alleles' frequency haveeffect on thespondyloarthritis disease.the influencealleles on the disease differs with different alleles. but effect of the hla-b27 allele is sever. nevertheless the effect of hla-b46 alleles on this disease and its subgroups, still is unknown. for these reasons, in this paper we investigate the effect of hla-b46allele's frequencyon patients with spondyloarthritis disease in zanjan city.
Methods
To fulfill this purpose we use a statistical society formed by 110 person in zanjan city that 80 of them have the spondyloarthritis disease and 30 of them are healthy and don’t have any disease background and their family are healthy with no disease background too. then hla-b46allele have been identified by pcr experiment and the results analyzed by spss software with the significant level of 0.05.
Results
The results shows that 2.6 present of the persons with this disease were hla-b47 positive while 3.3 present of the healthy persons were hla-b47 positive.
Conclusion
Based on the results that we obtained during our tested, we conclude that this allele doesn't has relation whit this disease.
