Abstract

Introduction

Stem cells are one of the modern therapies being used over recent years to treat diseases such as repairing damaged heart tissue, bone marrow transplantation, diabetes, baldness and duchenne muscular dystrophy (dmd). like other biological and medical facilities, this therapeutic method has raised a number of ethical-legal concerns. this article reviews the use of stem cells in different parts of the treatment with novel methods as well as the distinguished use of stem cells, which is associated with their tissue nature.

Methods

This is a review essay.

Results

Research has shown that this method is applicable for patients who have not positively responded to commonly-used therapies or for specific patients who are genetically untreatable. the application of stem cells in the treatment of diseases and cancers reveals relationship of the relatively strong molecular behavior between stem cells and cancer cells. in general, human stem cells without genetic alteration can be used to repair damaged tissues.

Conclusion

According to clinical trials conducted, stem cells would be transplanted into the heart of blood vessels, brain cells, liver, lungs, and other body tissues. considering the adopted therapies, a clear vision of the near future can be considered using stem cells, especially through concerning some ethical, legal, canonical and individual satisfaction issues for patients.
